Built in 1921, the 24,000 square-foot Castanea Building is a prominent structure in the downtown historic area. On the main retail level we developed a restaurant and Sensibilities, a day spa. The building was brought into compliance with current codes and systems were upgraded. The upper two floors, vacant for over 50 years, were converted into six residential condos with balconies and roof terraces. The seedy lower rear passageway was renovated into a charming courtyard.
