Animal Hospital of North Asheville
The 1977 building could no longer accommodate all the equipment and care that a state-of-the-art hospital provides today. The additions & renovations resulted in new capabilities, less invasive diagnostics and treatments, reduced patient hospitalization time and enhanced patient comfort. Another goal of the project was to change the building’s exterior image to better reflect services offered. Features of the project include: totally separate facilities for Cats and Dogs, updated ICU Units, Intensive Care Pods, Special Procedures Room for endoscopy, otoscopy, rhinoscopy, a Dental Surgery Suite, larger updated Surgery, larger more comfortable Recovery Room, new Kitchen/Food Prep Room, larger more up-to-date Isolation Ward, Grief Room and Learning Center to accommodate all 45 staff.
