After an electrical accident, we were hired to consult on life-safety issues for the 1920’s-era 105,000 square-foot industrial facility built along the French Broad River. We assessed all spaces for egress as well as tenant and occupancy separation. Improvements were made and the building is currently occupied by 15 diverse tenants including dog trainers, landscapers, contractors, artists, woodworkers and a bakery production facility.
