Smoky Mountain Adventure Center - Asheville, NC

The Smoky Mountain Adventure Center (SMAC) is a regional one-stop destination spot for indoor and outdoor adventure, ideally situated between two City parks, Carrier Park and French Broad River Park. Located in Asheville’s growing River Arts District (RAD), this new facility features indoor climbing, a fitness area, yoga and Tai Chi classes, and offers coffee, tea, smoothies and local brews to be enjoyed at the bar or on the wrap-around deck overlooking the French Broad River. Outdoor activities with partner companies operating out of SMAC include boat and tube rentals, stand-up boards and bike rentals. Situated in the 100-year Flood Fringe, the Smoky Mountain Adventure Center was designed to comply with the stringent FEMA requirements.
