Tupelo Honey Cafe

Tupelo Honey Café opened in 2000 in the heart of downtown Asheville, NC. Serving “southern food with a twist” created from scratch, Tupelo now boasts 15 locations throughout the country. Glazer Architecture provided design services for several of these including the recent expansion of the flagship restaurant. Design challenges included working with the 100-year old, multi-story mixed-use building in the downtown fire district…while fully occupied. Catering to both locals and tourists and now with seating for 150, this popular destination remains their most successful location.
