The Lobster Trap
Built in 1885, this building is part of a contiguous row of two, three
and four-story commercial buildings in the historic downtown district.
The tin ceiling was preserved and systems upgraded. A full kitchen, bar
and seating areas for 105 were created with a nautical theme. The front
façade is an operable wall system, creating the ambiance of eating
outdoors. We also designed the seven residential condos on the upper
floors. This project received a Griffin Award for Excellence in
Preservation.
